A Touch of Mancini

On Sunday, April 28 The Lexington Brass Band will perform music of Stephen Bulla, Engelbert Humperdinck, Carmen Dragon, and Emil Soderstrom, and a special feature selection highlighting music by one of the greatest of film composers, Henry Mancini. “A Touch of Mancini” will include many of Mancon’s most well-known and beloved melodies, including “The Pink Panther”, “Days of Wine and Roses”, “Peter Gunn”, and more. The ensemble will also be performing a major work of Stephen Bulla, “Chorale and Toccata”, a large-scale composition originally written for the Dutch Brass Band Competition.
